Welcome!

Margaret and Eric at the Grand Canyon Lodge

Welcome to our website, which is currently dedicated to information about our wedding! We hope you are as excited to be a part of our wedding and celebration as we are to invite you. We look forward to seeing you in Philadelphia on May 24 2008 for the ceremony and reception that has been 10 years in the making.

We met during our first year of college, studying architecture at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Our first official date was on March 02 1998 during the spring semester of our second year where we had dessert and dinner (in that order) at Max & Erma's in Shadyside (Special thanks to Larry and Michele for helping Margaret turn an innocent dinner with friends into a romantic evening that started a lasting relationship.). That summer we traveled to Rome Italy for a study abroad program. It was on this trip and in this amazing city that we both first told each other "I love you." Since then we continued to travel and live in new places across the country.

Then on June 08 2007 Eric proposed to Margaret at a small bed and breakfast in the forests of Eugene Oregon. Margaret accepted with surprise and excitement, but without cell phone service (for which Eric felt terrible) we had to wait until the next day to tell our family and friends the big news. Then on Sunday, the track and field athletes at the Prefontaine Classic gave great performances in our honor... or at least that's our story. Over the next few weeks, Margaret found creative ways to show friends her new ring. And then the wedding planning began...

Currently, Margaret is living in Salt Lake City where she is pursuing PhD studies at the University of Utah and digging her car out of the snow. Eric is going to the beach and finishing work at his job in San Diego while preparing to move to Utah in January.

We look forward to being together again and seeing all of our family and friends at our wedding in May! We hope you will join us to celebrate! Thanks.

Margaret and Eric

she wore thigh high doc martens that summer.
quite hardcore and slightly scary.
